Dr Anna Badcock Clinical Psychology

Dr Anna Badcock is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing since 2021 in public mental health, Not-for-Profit and private practice settings in Perth, Western Australia, and Hobart, Tasmania. She completed a combined Masters/PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a thesis exploring the role of changes in loneliness and belonging as risk factors for suicide. Anna's early clinical experience involved working with complex and acute mental health presentations which has greatly shaped her approach to therapy. Anna takes a person-centred, evidence-based approach to working with clients, assisting people to meet their goals and improve their mental health.
Outside of work, you'll find Anna pottering in the garden, baking up a storm, or taking photos of her cat. She also takes an active role in the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian Psychological Society and is currently the Chair of the APS Tasmanian Branch Committee. Anna is also a member of APS Disaster Response Network. Anna holds registration as an AHPRA board approved supervisor.

Assessment and Therapy Services
Anna works with young people and adults aged 12 and up, with referrals for younger children accepted on a case-by-case basis to determine whether her skills are the right fit for the child. Anna has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and always tries to provide a safe and inclusive environment.
Anna offers both assessment and therapy services.
